DJECA

Twenty-three year old Rahima and her 14-year-old brother Nedim are Bosnian war orphans living in Sarajevo, a society in transition that has lost all compassion for the children of the conflict’s vic- tims. After a turbulent adolescence, Rahima has found comfort in Islam and hopes Nedim will fol- low in her footsteps. At school, however, Nedim gets into a fight with the son of a powerful political minister, setting off a series of events that will lead Rahima to discover Nedim’s double life.
