L’ÉPREUVE DU SOUTERRAIN

L'ÉPREUVE DU SOUTERRAIN

Film critic and director Alain Bergala analyzes various scenes from Fritz Lang’s Moonfleet (1955), from a symbolic and psychological perspective. The short film essay takes its title from the trials and tribulations of John Mohune, the child protagonist of Lang’s film, which in turn is based on the novel Moonfleet by John Meade Falkner.
