Trying to make a new life for themselves, in a world immersed in silence and often in snow as well, the father and son experience the loss of every Chechen who lives in the “enemy” country, along with suffering, over a long war that continues to take its toll on both sides. “Our goal at the beginning of this film was specific: to state our position towards Russia and the war in Chechnya.” (A.
