TIŠE!

TIŠE!

Shooting as if the camera were invisible, Kosakovskij captures scenes of everyday life from the win- dow of his apartment, focusing on a street with a hole in the road. The result is an original point of view on the routine of a St. Petersburg street, shown in its most disparate details and transformed into a theatrical presentation of Russian society with a profound understanding of the physical and metaphysical aspect of the object before the director’s camera. “I started shooting randomly from the window of my room with no intention of making a film.” (V. Kosakovskij)
