Drawing inspiration from the collective voice of the 13 neighbourhoods of Pesaro, this cinematic portrait of the town delves beneath the surface and explores the multifaceted identity of its lesser-known sites, the time of its sounds, and the suggestions of those who experience it, like a rich mosaic of fresh sociological, urbanistic, and popular nuances. The film is produced by Macula - Cultura Fotografica, an association of researchers and artists which promotes photography as an artistic language, cultural heritage, and research tool, organising exhibitions, workshops, courses, participatory projects, and archive recovery.
Mauro Santini takes a strong diary-like approach to film-making, handling the photography, editing, and sound himself.
