In the spring of 1992, war broke out in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The Drina Valley was the scene of the worst atrocities, culminating in the Srebrenica massacre. Irvin Mujcic was five years old and was forced to flee. Some 20 years later, Irvin decided to return to his homeland. In the same woods where people fled and took refuge, Irvin builds a small village with his own hands to restore dignity to these places and the victims of the war.
Born in 1978 in Loznica (ex-Yugoslavia), when war broke out Zijad Ibrahimovic fled his country and found shelter in Switzerland, where he lives and works. He began his career as a filmmaker after graduating from the Film School in Lugano. He is also a photographer, painter and sculptor, thanks to his original training as a carpenter.
