Ersekë, Albania. 16-year-old Elyria lives with her family abiding by the strict rules imposed by her father. She tries to hide her anger with obedience, but her desire to rebel grows. Once, she secretly meets with Goran, a Serbian boy whom she shouldn’t even glance at. But her father informs her that her wedding to the Albanian betrothed is soon to take place.
Giulia Grandinetti made her debut as director in 2020 with the independent feature film Alice and the Land that Wonders, and then directed a trilogy of dystopian short films: Guinea Pig, Tria - del sentimento del tradire and Majonezë. She is currently preparing her next feature film titled Jaune et Bleu.
