Ada and her partner Rino move into a villa surrounded by nature. Pregnant with their second child, Ada, as childbirth approaches, begins to sink in the pain of the loss of her first-born son. She feels that he has returned from the afterlife to prevent the birth of his brother. Is this really happening or is Ada losing her mind?
Mara Fondacaro (Naples, 1994) attended the degree course in Photography - Cinema and Television at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples and then graduated as a screenwriter from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. In 2022, she participated in the Berlinale as a screenwriter with the short Le variabili dipendenti, which went on to garner the David di Donatello Award for best short film the following year.
