Marco, an ordinary man in his early 40s, Zoe, a 25-year-old, bold young woman, and Laura, an icy and elegant, bourgeois lady in her 50s are trapped in a labyrinth of fragility and inner torment. The film explores the daily toil of living, the themes of loss and emotional isolation, and the quest for solace.
Film director, author and scriptwriter Francesca Staasch graduated from the London Film School and studied with R. McKee, K. Dancyger, M. Leigh and A. Kiarostami. She directed her debut feature-length web-movie Happy Days Motel in 2012. She is a published theatre author and is one of the creators of U.G.O. She writes for TV series and feature films.
