Ogni cosa nella luce si ritrae began as a film diary and is an attempt to assemble the footage filmed over thirteen months based on a logic that retains its intimacy and distance at once. A hendiadys that looks towards its own incompleteness and the margin itself (here, alternately, the film leader and the cut that joins and separates the images and their limits). All is always and yet never entirely continuous and discontinuous, at the same time.
Liam Baldini (Rimini, 2001) is an independent filmmaker and photographer with a background in philosophy. He primarily works with Super8 and other analogue formats. His films have been screened at several international festivals, including Laterale Film Festival, Revolutions per Minute Festival, and the Beijing International Short Film Festival. He also contributes to programming film events for the curatorial project “angolo cieco.”
