Chiara Francini present
COPPIA APERTA, QUASI SPALANCATA (Italia, 2024, 120’) di Federica Di Giacomo
Based on Dario Fo and Franca Rame’s comedy of the same title, the film explores the relational dynamics in love today, balancing metafiction and documentary. Co-author Chiara Francini plays the lead and grapples with polyamory, discovering a world of young (and not-so-young) people who are ‘against’ monogamy, of feminists, and sex-positive parties.

Federica Di Giacomo graduated in anthropology and has worked in dance theatre. A writer, director, and camera operator, she won many awards for Liberami, including the Orizzonti Best Film prize, and made documentaries such as Housing and Il Palazzo.
