The death of a basil plant is always an inevitable, yet personal, issue.
Viola Bartolini is a young aspiring filmmaker born in 2002. She has experimented with the arts, particularly photography, since she was a child, before turning her attention to film and video editing as a teenager. In 2022, she made her first experimental short film, MAMA, which won a special mention in the Under-35 Directors category at the Fabrique Du Cinéma Awards. She then went on to make her second short Mondo Altro in 2024, distributed by Siberia Distribution and selected for various festivals. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Arts, Music, and Performing Arts at Roma Tre University.
