The film made by Leonetti and Pomodoro in 1971 aimed to offer an "authentic view of the bourgeois trial," referring to the defamation lawsuit brought by Commissioner Calabresi against Lotta Continua. Considered too experimental, it provoked harsh reactions at the Pesaro Film Festival.
Francesco Leonetti (1924–2017) engaged with the major literary movements of the 20th century, joining the Neoavanguardia. With Pomodoro and Di Marco he founded the journal Che fare. He taught Aesthetics at the Accademia di Brera.
Born in the Montefeltro, Arnaldo Pomodoro (1926–2025) lived and worked in Milan from 1954. His works — ranging from sculpture to jewellery — are found in urban spaces and in the most important public and private collections worldwide.
