Following the restoration works underway at the piano nobile in the Ducal Palace in Urbino with discretion, Le opere, i giorni immerses us in the noisy life of the restoration site, behind the scenes of a three-year project amid unknown occurrences, discoveries, and transformations. A fresh point of view, in medias res, on the enchanted harmony of one of the most significant landmarks of the Italian Renaissance.
Mauro Santini (Fano, 1965) makes films with a strong diary-like approach, taking care of photography, editing, and sound. The Videodiari series includes Da lontano and Flòr da Baixa. In addition to several other works presented in international festivals, he is committed to teaching in schools, the breeding ground of his latest film production.
