Orfeo is a film adaptation of Dino Buzzati’s Poem Strip (1969), which is considered to be the first Italian graphic novel and reworks the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, setting it in Milan. An intriguing journey into the darkness of a man’s psyche as he searches for his beloved, this film blends live action with all kinds of animation, reinventing a century of avant-garde art through the themes of love and death.
