Proiezione speciale – Premio Marche Nuovo Cinema
SUPERBI (Italia, 2024, 16’) di Nikola Brunelli
With the director and Andrea Agostini, President of Fondazione Marche Cultura – Marche Film Commission, in attendance.
Ascoli Piceno is home to “SUPERBI,” a store that has been producing the city's most famous fried olives since 1864. Fulvio has run the family business for years, but he has recently grown tired of it, and the quality is no longer what it used to be - although he would never admit it. Then a new fried olive store opens in town, run by young rival Ismail.

Nikola Brunelli is a director and founder of the satirical group Ware en Valse. He won the Longless Film Festival with the short LowBudget – L'Attore Cane and received a Special Mention from the Serata di Cinema Indipendente Europeo – Sguardi for Quando sarò grande.
