The final project for my school was this video-installation, a self-made archive of the drawings and diaries that I’ve realized 2017 through 2019: by way of animation, I tried to remove the static nature of the individual works, analysing the space of my atelier, and creating a system of moving images that both hides and creates new levels of meaning.
“This video is a way to auto-archive my work in a non-static, but transformative, way by means of animation, frame by frame. The vertical format was chosen for the sake of the installation and to remain true to the works’ format. The modified sound comes from the noise of drawing on paper and turning the pages of my journals.”
